  1. Hey there! Just checked out "20 Cheap Vegan & Plant Based Foods for Budget Meals" and I have to say, this is exactly the kind of content I love to see. As someone who’s all about eating vegan on a budget, I’m always on the lookout for affordable and nutritious ingredients that I can use to make delicious meals. This video is such a great resource for anyone who wants to save money on groceries while still eating a healthy and balanced diet. I love how the foods are all so versatile and can be used in a variety of different recipes. Thanks for sharing these awesome ideas!

  2. I like everything on the list. I can only have watermelon when my son is at work. He is allergic to it causing his stomach to churn at the smell of it. I make sure there is no trace of it in the house at lease about two hours before he gets home. With kale, I am unable to find it in my area that I now live in. Was able to find it in Virginia before moving to Oklahoma. So I just settle with fresh spinach. With the potatoes, I like to get the multicolored ones where the purple potatoes are purple inside, the red are red inside and the yellow are yellow inside. One package can give me several meals once quartered and roasted. I also prefer multi-colored carrots and red cabbage. I have found red lentils make a good flat-bread. I have yet to find any green or black lentils. With rice, I like to find not only brown, but also wild, red, purple, and black. I love oats and use them to help with making mini ‘meat’ loaves. With peanut butter, I prefer to find the ones that don’t have added sugars, oils, and other ‘chemicals. Salt is okay as a second ingredient. The things I mentioned I usually get while on sale and can last a while. The fresh veggies I can cook ahead and freeze in single serve containers. Thank you for sharing this.

  3. 1. Fruit – bananas, Watermelon, apples, oranges, cantaloupe, pears
    2. Vegetables – Broccoli, carrots, onions, potatoes, kale, cabbage
    3. Legumes – lentils, beans
    4. Whole grains – brown rice, oatmeal, quinoa
    5. Nuts and seeds – sunflower seeds, flaxseed, peanut butter

  4. My favorites are oatmeal, bananas, apples & sunflower seeds. For my nuts, I buy them all online, in bulk, which helps a lot. 🍎 🍌

  5. I make my own almond milk 1cup shelled almonds soak them overnight pinch off the brown skin then put 8 cups distilled water blend with a high speed blender strain milk through a cheese cloth then use a funnel to pour milk into a glass container refrigerate and you have homemade almond milk use the solid almond part to malalmond flour tortillas

  9. I needed this topic of video! I’m new with my lifestyle on plant based! I basically been eating oatmeal with fruit smoothies! Whole grain cereal! Walnuts! Flax seeds! I’m struggling at times in restaurants or at home! So far I’ve been ordering salads yes with chicken ! What else can I put in my salads??

  10. My favorite foods avocado πŸ₯‘, banana, cantaloupe honeydew, watermelon, beans, tomatoes, potatoes, walnuts, cashews, pistachios.

  11. Sister! You are a rockstar! I praise God for your channel. With the Lord and my plant-based lifestyle I have lost 45 pounds and let’s just say there are way too many benefits to list! Thank you for being faithful to this call and I look forward to watching more. ❀

  12. So Happy I found your page. I am struggling struggling. Recently my health has gone down drain. And was put on a lot of meds do you side effects was prescribed more meds. My son in pre med suggested I try holistic medicine. My Dr. Put me on the photogenic diet basically rainbow diet for 3 mths. She said I can eat meat just in moderation. This is my second week first week all in plants yesterday I ate less than 1/2 grilled chicken breast. Felt so bad so decided to try my best to do all veggies. But I am stuck for meals. I work 8-10 he days and have to still get dinner on table for 5 others that live there meat. So I have been eating sides. And it’s getting old. I just want real meals. So I found your page and being watched every episode. Thank you for putting this out. Let me tell u prayer works. Because I was like Lord if this is going to help me send me help. I found your pg and my sup is just starting her vegan journey so we are struggling together. I am not alone. Thank you so much.

  13. I support local farms over chain grocery stores when possible. That just means my produce costs are a little higher. Lile there is a small orchard a mile up the road from me that has a peach season and apple season, and cost around $4.19 per lb. But I prefer supporting them than Stop & Shop or Wholefoods these days.

  14. Organic veggies are sometimes higher in price, so do you think non organic veggies are a good buy? Thanks 😊

  15. I’ve been buying a lot of fruit! Bananas! Blueberry! Strawberries! Watermelon z! Pineapple z! Like twice a week!!
