  1. Shoe companies: I’ll update the technology of our sneakers for a better yet comfortable performance

    This Nigga: *cushion bad*

  2. For that same price you can get your self a nice Nike Metcon 9 and itโ€™s better than all of those options

  3. What about lifting shoes for squats? I feel like the raised heel really helps with stability, and I don’t have to screw around with plates.

  4. Converse are absolutely appalling due to the tiny toe boxes. I have very narrow feet and I can’t wear Converse, as they crush my toes. They’re absurdly designed and will cause your toes to deform over time. Vans arent much better either.

  5. eh never really understood all this hype for "lifting shoes" i am 100% fine with my adidas running shoes. lol

  6. Converse and vans are narrow shoes and are terrible long term. Its best to wear a durable sock and allow your foot to spread naturally

  7. Using flat shoes at squat will focus at your ass and not quads. It’s better to have some small heel, obviously not this air nike crap

  8. I think there are lots of shoes for different purposes. I was a converse guy for a long time, then new balance cross trainers. My wife just got me nike metcons and we will see how these handle my abusive workouts. Loved the converse, loved the new balance, I hope I love the metcons! I have a lot of clients who love them.

  9. Nike Down Shifter, Flex Experience, or Free Run are all inexpensive(ish) running shoes that work well in the gym also in fact my college football team got them as standard team equipment for strength training if athletes can do full cleans with 315 pounds in them I think theyโ€™re alright. I second the opinion on staying away from the fancy expensive shoes for lifting.

  10. Yeah but only for lifting, else a good pair of running shoes actually feels good at the treadmill. I personally feel motivated to run more using these running trainers
