  1. Great video, but if you asked how they got started I didn’t catch it. I wonder whether they started when they were young or ‘old.’

  2. I am 57 and strength train in the gym. I am in the best shape ever but definitely won’t compete. Great conversation ❤

  3. 2000 calories whole food is not really a lot, though. 1200 is starving. Liked the lady who mentioned she doesn’t want to be too small outside the competition.

  4. at 62 workout to Chloe Ting video workouts. 50 min. early morning so sets my fay. Her videos are well balanced and she has challenges which keep me committed. 6x week..love it. Im also a yoga teacher which helps wind down the 50 min workout. Vegan nutrition for me.

  5. Can someone please let me know the women’s full names so I can search for their social media pages? I could only find 2 of them so I am not sure if I am spelling their names correctly. Thank you.

  6. For those o f us who can’t tolerate dairy, a great source of plant-based protein powder is rice protein. It has been found to offer the same benefits as whey protein in terms of muscle gains and recovery.

  7. Bodybuilding prep = disordered eating. Lots of body dysmorphia amongst the participants. Then there’s that rascal tren popping its ugly head up. I appreciate your attempting to motivate your subscribers and viewers, but with your background you should know all of this.

  8. Question about HRT… the women were talking about testosterone but I thought HRT was estrogen and progesterone? Also what are they being told by their doctors about the breast cancer risk? Thank you so much!

  9. I am 48 and I would like to do a body building body transformation compétition for my 50. Do you have reference for compétition.

I just discover your Channel! So interesting.

    From Québec, Canada

  10. HRT should also be discussed as not just testosterone for muscle but for health.
Night sweat, dry skin, bone health, brain health and more. It’s not taking steroids for muscle it’s creams mostly. It’s very beneficial for most. Not for all for various reasons. 😊

  11. I would like to know how tall these women are in context of caloric intake. I’m almost 6ft tall and can’t imagine reducing my calories to 1200 calories. I think it’s important to emphasize height, weight, calorie balance for women who may be watching this. Loved this discussion. Thank you for bringing these lovely women together.

  12. What are the thoughts of intermittent fasting? I’m not a competitive body builder but instead a 60 year old artistic/figure skater on roller skates which also involves strength training among other types of training. Enjoyed the info. I go for clean eating and no supplements except for Spirulina capsules.

  13. I would like to follow these ladies in social media. Can you share their names and/or social media handles? Thanks

  14. I’m curious to hear if they gained belly fat early in menopause or even peri- menopause? If so, how did they lose it?

  15. Great video! What are all these women’s names please? I’d like to watch their channels as well! Knowledge is power! 😁

  16. I have Thyroid issues. So, I work-out at least 3 days a week, with a mix of cardio and weight lifting.

  17. So amazing I had you on while I was doing my lifting today. Am currently making an omelette with toast Hard to get used to the increase in calories shit

  18. Can you do another one of these? Maybe one a year, its just so incentive building! Love all you amazing ladies. ❤👏🏼💪🏼

  19. Awesome podcast ! I have lost 45 pounds and now looking to build … which I would have never dreamed before xx❤

  20. Loved this show so much. I am 61 & I have been 🎉so unmotivated, almost depressed. I know I need to build some muscle, I dont want to be a frail ole woman.

  21. I wandering how I could body build with bad knees now. I worked out from my mid twenties to fifties but stoped for the last 15 years. I’m back to the gym for the last 10 days and I have lots to work on now that I am 68. What would you suggest?

  22. Hey all, first-time listener and former amateur bodybuilder 30 years ago (stopped due to injuries, grad school, divorce, and relocation). Would like to get back on stage one more time before I exit this planet. Have had a rotator cuff repair on one shoulder 30 years ago and am desperate to avoid the same surgery on the other shoulder (full-thickness cuff tear) that has reared its ugly head since I’ve been back in the gym hitting the weights regularly for the last 5-6 months. Any thoughts on how to work around the need to lift heavy to hypertrophy yet not completely blow out my remaining shoulder? And I’ve tried the ‘let it rest until it heals’ route so need some other answer. My gut tells me the answer is surgery but at 60-something, the outcomes aren’t guaranteed and I have to work several more years so I need a fully functioning right arm…thanks in advance.

  23. So glad I found your channel. I’m a former figure competitor struggling to get back to shape. I am on HRT and had a set back after my last show. Good information!

  24. I struggle struggle struggle with staying consistently in calories. (Age 59/172lbs/5’81/2); I w/o 4-5 times a week, track my food in MFP, but am constantly set back by unplanned social event or spontaneous family get together or just the habit of eating more. Ant tips on getting off the nutritional rollercoaster mentally or physically? (PS: I,m not much of a cook so when I do prep it’s a lot of the same and gets mentally fatiguing-but I WANT this!)

  25. I’d like to hear about successful over-50 svelt ladies/competitors NOT using HRT or BHRT. I’ve already been training and eating right for my bombass and healthy body for 30 years… what I really need is help navigating the hormone deficit to get the best results.

  26. You all have balance and grace! Love the inspiration and my workouts are gonna be better! I get afraid of getting too muscular but I see NO FEAR !

  27. Some prob started in their early years and never quit . I want to see ppl who started after 50. Nice video though I love positivity .

  28. That was a great video and will look for the video you said they were on earlier. I do not have what it takes to compete, but i dream of the lifestyle and body. I had a hard menopause with deep depression and now on the other side getting back into shape. I find that I cannot do what i did in my 40’s. My son wants me to do a 1/2 marathon with him soon and running is a lot harder than in my 40’s. I am 57 and having the hardest time losing weight. I cannot afford all those trainers, but was wondering if there are some books that I can read to learn how to train and eat by myself that will put me on the path to complete. The beginning alludes that the ladies have secrets to what they do, and do you only learn that with a trainer? I do have your book coming in the mail. I just do not know who to believe and trust. I learned a lot by listening to these lovely ladies. Everyone is different and has a different approach and reacts to food differently. Thank you to all the ladies for teaching us a little about training after Menopause.
