  5. This is so amazing!! To focus on your faith is so important as we age ❤❤ these are such great suggestions not just on supplements but the social emotional aspects as well!!

  6. Entire video of nonsense. Do you blood tests and track the efficacy of any supplement and you’ll find most have no impact, such as curcumin. Re; Yin producing? Lol

  7. How many of your confident claims are supported by double blinded randomized controlled clinical trials and published in rigorous medical journals?

  8. I’ve heard mixed things about the cold before bed. I understood it as the cold will fire up the internal burners to warm yourself up. I have tried the reverse, doing a sauna before. I find I’m hot but then start to cool quickly. I also find I have an increased alertness when I do the cold, which seems counter to what I’d want right before bed. Maybe it has different effects on others.

  9. Also, please interview Dr. Stasha Gominack who has also helped me tremendously. Thanks in advance! 🙂

  10. 33:49 Dr. Are! Did you just encourage men to eat MORE RED MEAT?! This astounds and upsets me that you would say this! With all the studies out the along with various health professionals advocating for LESS red meat to limit cancer and other health risks, how can you tell older ( and retired) men to eat more?! I agree with some of the other suggestions, totally disagree with adding more red meat (grain fed or not) to their diet.

  11. I have never been able to sleep my whole life. My mother even says I refused to take a nap as a baby. Now that i am 62 i am finally sleeping 6 or 7 hours a night (not in a row)

  12. Thanks Dr. Axe! Please invite Dr. Richard "Rick" Johnson and Dr. Robert Lustig to do interviews with you about fructose. 🙏🏻

  13. Hi Dr Josh, thanks so much for brining up this topic for discussion and make others aware of each and everyone life changes. Thanks a million. I am 52 year old and wondering all the points you mentioned in the video: sleeping habbits, empty nested, kids going to college are all happening around me. I am a tradition Chinese man from Hong Kong and currently residing in HCMC of Vietnam. Heard you mentions many times about the Chinese herbs for age treatment and would be nice to get to know more on how to combine East & West treatment in exchange for a better – over 50s life. Cheers.

  14. I really appreciate age related health information. I just can’t do the exercises that many younger people can do. Most of the time I need a cane to walk especially any distance. Then my balance is not great and my muscles are very weak.❤ I’m 65.

  15. Reading here made me weep. The worst thing after I person dies is that they can lo longer be helped…I believe in reincarnation and suffering for sins . Worst thing is to become a garden rock

  16. I’m 54, I teach yoga and mindfulness and feel amazing! I had my kids late in life so I really want to stay young and healthy. My parents died young at 82 of hypertension, diabetes, dementia. I am breaking the chain! I just got remarried to my best friend, we do hot yoga together and cook health meals. If you have never tried yoga nidra, please try it. It helps w/ menopause too!❤️🌹🌹

  17. "Men, eat copious amounts of meat and cheese." "Hmmm … i wonder why the rates of heart disease are like 50%?"

  18. I’m 51 soon and feel fit, no smoking but alcohol consumers almost every day a glass of white wine or a bottle of a beer😂

  19. Can you list research studies for the supplements’ effectiveness? These supplement co. Are often a sham…

  20. I’m not able to do weight training I have Cerebral Palsy. I already take the supplements that your talking about. I ‘m having trouble with menopause symptoms like being hot and cold at the same time or being hot 🔥 flashes to the point I feel like I ‘m on fire 🔥. And I have to keep my room cool/ with the ceiling fan to keep air curling around the room and I have a history of seizures so it helps with that as well as hot 🔥 flashes. I’m doing all the right things it’s just that something is off. I had a hysterectomy 3 years ago and it seems like I can’t find the balance that is needed. I have now have joint pain and body pain that makes my body ache.

I can’t take regular iron it irritate my stomach. I take the liquid version and it seems to help. I’m just tired 😩 of taken all these supplements and not get the results that I need. I even tried whole foods supplements. I seem to have more problems since I had my hysterectomy. And I already had issues with my health. I’m doing my best to figure it out. And I eat fruits and vegetables nuts and seeds. I can’t eat dairy foods like cheese yorgert, I still eat eggs salmon things you talking about I don’t eat a lot of red meat. I’m 53 and I have being deal with hot 🔥 flashes on and off in my early 20’s by my 30’s I was in premenopausal and now I’m in menopause mode.

  21. This segment is so inspirational to know there are so many in this world who experience physical life change as we age. Thank you Dr. Axe and blessings to your family🙏🏾

  22. You lost me at ‘go hunting’! You don’t need to kill a sentient being to prove you’re a man 🤦‍♀️

  23. But what if you are a man in your 50s or even 40s with 120ng of testosterone? Hang out with the manliest men?!! Come on

  24. Oral Magnesium can interfere with the metabolism of certain medicines. It is not advisable to start taking Magnesium and other supplements without checking on Drums interactions with your pharmacist or doctor.

  25. 21:30 " walking decreases your risk of all types of death by 51%".
They left out ‘ getting hit by a car. ‘
That’s the one type of death that would be very hard to accomplish if you’re sitting on your couch 😄
